My name is Qiqa Maqubela and I am currently a Multi task attendant, part of a multidisciplinary team to assist in the provision of health and social care for clients.   • I had the great opportunity to work for a charity organisation lead by Fiona Corcoran, who was deeply moved when the worlds worst nuclear disaster occurred at Chernobyl Ukraine in 1986.
  • An enthusiastic follower of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, she was shocked and horrifed by the consequences of the explosion so much so, that she eventually gave up her job to work fulltime with the victims of the poisonous radioactive fallout.
  • During my time with her I helped out in organising clothes, books, toys and shoes that would be displayed at the charity shop in the city.
  • To promote awareness I would also help in promoting the items on the Facebook page, taking pictures and uploading them on the Facebook this contributed to social media campaigns, promoting community initiatives and events.
  • Helped customers to locate specific products by conducting thorough stockroom checks, delivering exceptional service.
  • Regularly cleaned and straightened work areas, ensuring stores stayed tidy in line with company standards.
