My first week of TY work experience, I did at KLD. I really enjoyed my week there and it really opened my eyes into the world of interior design, which I was already interested in in.

• Assisted the designers with selecting appropriate materials such as paint colors, wall coverings, flooring options, etc. for meetings with clients.
• Organized the companies product samples library so that it was arranged in category or type of material.
• Created my own design plan for an apartment which I then presented to the interior designers. This included moodboards, floorplans and sample boards

Industry & Co was my second work experience. It is a small independent brand, situated in the city centre. I really enjoyed my week there and I learnt all about working in retail.

• Greeted customers and provided assistance with product selection.
• Did a day as a barista and helped out in the cafe that adjoined to the store.
• Helped package products and put them in the van for deliveries.
