I completed a work experience programme from the pharmacist during my week in the pharmacy.

I helped to organise stock being received and I was able to learn how prescriptions are fulfilled.

I was able to assist with organising products on the shop floor and helped customers with any queries.

I interacted with customers on the shop floor to assist them with any queries they had

I checked stock deliveries and completed invoices. I also replenished stock together with organising the layout of products.

I also added security tags where required.

During my week with Irish Life at their head office in Dublin I learnt about a variety of their departments

I learnt about Research and Innovation, Customer Experience, Financial Planning and Customer Claims during a very detailed work experience programme.

I was part of a group of 30 students from across the country who were required to work in teams at times. This really improved my teamwork skills.

• Assisted in developing reading skills through storytelling sessions promoting love for books among kids.
• Supervised and monitored the safety of children in care to ensure well-being at all times.
• Ensured child safety during indoor and outdoor activities for peace of mind of parents.
