During my time as a waitress, I've successfully maintained a polite and professional demeanor to patrons, encouraged inquiries and order placements, and provided excellent customer service. Tied to that, it was also my responsibility to have knowledge of current menu items, their ingredients, and preparation methods. Because of the type of hospitality, it was also my necessary duty to verify the age of guests and whether they meet the minimum age to legally purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. Subsequently, it was also my responsibility to process payments from customers, as well as to train new employees to perform duties at the required level.

A staffer at MF DNES was my first position in written media, which helped me develop creative thinking, considerable independence, and the ability to make quick decisions. In this position, I learned how to work in person with people of importance, get specific information, and also how to work with text, and effectively present the required news to our readers.

During the time I spent working in the news section of nationwide television, I've established myself in working during moments of emergency and high stress. At the same time, I efficiently learned how to manage a team in researching necessary information, and effectively presenting it to the viewers. I also gathered important contacts and gained an experience in front of a camera.

I started working in a store selling outdoor and casual clothes and shoes in 2018, and I stayed there for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. Over three years, I have demonstrated how to effectively deal with customers, as well as handle returns or place special orders. I also effectively took responsibility for running a business independently, and accurately managing daily sales. With enthusiasm, I have fostered relationships with customers to expand our customer base, and retain business.

Working in a bookshop chain in Prague at that time helped me develop my social skills in communication with customers, offering and recommending books based on their specific wishes. I have also received the responsibility for running the bookstore under the supervision of a store manager, mostly on weekends, as well as keeping the shop clean and presentable at all times.
