  • When I first commenced work at MUH, I worked as a locum medical secretary, gaining experience in the Paediatrics, Geriatrics, and Gynaecology units of the hospital, and as a clerical officer in the Radiology Department.
  • I then went on to work as a clerical officer in the Hotel Services Department, covering Catering, Security, Maintenance, Portering, Switchboard, and Household Services.
  • From 2007 to 2017 I worked in the Department of Development, working on service developments, refurbishments and new builds. Some of the projects I worked on include the build / refurbishment and equipping of the ED, CNE, POLAR Unit and CRFC & the set up and transfer of services to our Local Injuries Unit and Blood Bank.
  • Service Developments included consultant post applications, Acute integration with Community Services and the successful application for MUH to become a National Colonoscopy Cancer Screening Programme Centre.
