William Nee

Motivated and hardworking individual, capable of working in challenging environments and using their initiative. I have worked in hospitality from a young age and gained great experience in the hospitality sector over the years. I also have experience in outdoor settings as well as having experience from the FRS scheme and gardening and landscaping in my local area.

I have been a keen sportsman for as long as I can remember and growing up would have taken part in all sports that were offered to me from football, gaelic football, rugby, running, martial arts and regular gym sessions. Throughout school, I was part of both our football and gaelic football team. A regular hobby of mine is sauna sessions and sea swimming as it has physical and mental benefits. In my spare time, I love gardening and outdoor work from planting trees, vegetables and fruits.

Experienced in working as part of a team in both my roles as a bartender and landscaper with FRS., Capable of working with my own initiative which was particularly vital when working for Connemara Woodfire and Veldons Seafarer. It was also very important when working for myself, landscaping and gardening to ensure that customers were happy with the jobs carried out., While working in Veldons Seafarer, multi-tasking was essential. Veldons was a fast-paced dynamic bar and restaurant where we would be busy right from opening to closing. I quickly worked my way to a leadership position and was one of the core members of staff responsible for stock takes, counting the till and entrusted to close the pub, and ensuring my colleagues had finished the cleaning for the night.
