During my TY year, I have had the opportunity to gain experience in a number of work environments -

  • Worked with a local politician on his general election campaign, hanging posters, going door to door canvassing, and participating in the vote count
  • I was in the Four Courts for a week, observing legal cases and participating in the McCann Fitzgerald TY Programme
  • I worked at an advertising company called Wilson Hartnell, where I sat in on interviews conducted with international female rugby players regarding the launch of a female rugby boot, and I also assisted with a Pringles advertising campaign
