Travis Munn

I was first taken on in this job as a car sales, and helped build the buisness up. Then passed over to the bodyshop and spraying as always been involed and we couldnt ever get a good person for the role so i had to step up and take on the bodyshop manger role as we was just turning over bodywork staff everymonth.

The car sales side of the buisness eventually went under and everything in the buinsenss changed and they had to close or i would still be in this role now.

• Oversaw bookings with accurate calendar management.
• Organised continuous facilities cleaning, minimising risk and maintaining professional appearance.
• Tracked expenses and business outgoings to remain within cashflow targets.
• Negotiated contracts with suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
• Received and resolved customer complaints escalated by staff.
• Maintained excellent health and safety standards for continued compliance.
• Kept appropriate stock levels to meet operational needs.

For a few years i played at a high standard and having to work on my self to over come, a few obstacles one that ended my football career which was a disease called scleroderma which is very similar to blood cancers as it spreads all over and inevitable would of happened. I had to have a stem cell transplant which is the harshest of chemo you can possibly be given why your body is trying to cure. the treatment stripped me of everything and i was never able to go back to being the same but made me as a person grow up very fast and get in the real world. Took a lot from me but turned me into a better man as i have two daughters and a wife to look after most importantly and see the bigger picture than just living a dream and playing football. Although i did learn a few things and regimental way of living and being strict with diets and times and all other stuff which helps in most work environments.
