During my time as a wind turbine technician i have progressed via the Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR's) from a Trainee to a Competent Technician (CT) and futher to an Authorised Technician (AT) and currently hold authorisations on 4 separarte platforms (Seimens CS 1.3mw, Seimens CS 2.3mw, Seimens VS 2.3mw and Vestas V47 660kw)
WTSR's operatate up to 1000v ac/1500v dc and voltages above this OSR (Operational Safety Rules) ruleset are used.
I currently hold an OSR Authorisation Category 1A.
Aspects of the role include- Monitoring via Scada/Fault response, Service tasks, Minor and Major Component exchanges and inspections on Heavy mechanical equipment/LV electrical/Hydraulic systems/Can bus and control systems while having been trained for working at height, PHEEC first aid, fire awareness, advanced rescue and manual handling.

During my time with the company i was manufactured trained and worked as a service technician for an agent who operated in the north west of ireland, mainly donegal and surrounding counties and carried out warranty repairs/out of warranty repairs and technical support on industial pumps and domestic pressurised systems.
The company also was a service agent for Triton, Mira and Aqualisa pumps and showers, Climote remote Cental Heating systems and Panasonic air to water heat pumps.
Over 15 years working on all above systems has gained me a vast experience working on same while building cutomer service and relations while networking with other collegues.
