I have always loved working with people and meeting new people. I enjoy building professional relationships with my clients and those around me. My career has always been such a positive element in my life and I have enjoyed the change and challenges it has brought along the way. The past few years I have worked part-time while I raise my family but I am now ready to return to work full-time. I would love to be considered for position of Area Sales Representative. I appreciate the time you have taken to read my C.V.
In March 2024, I started as a contract worker for Irelands' leading online trichology clinic, Trua Ireland. Trua offer online consultations to those suffering from hair loss and scalp conditions. Working as a hair and scalp specialist in a small rural town is limiting as the population is small. Trua has enabled me to reach people outside of my catchment area and has helped me to increase my working hours.
After 15 years in the hairdressing industry, I recognized a need for local and assessable services for those experiencing hair loss and scalp issues. In 2023, I introduced LED Light Therapy into the salon environment. I am currently the only hair stylist offering such services in Ireland. I am passionate to offer solutions and hope to clients who often feel a sense of despair regarding their hair and scalp issues. My aim is always to give my clients the best I possibly can. Since venturing outside of the mainstream hairdressing services my knowledge and understanding of hair and skin has improved greatly.
In 2016, I opened my own salon Envee Hairdressing. It was hugely successful and I was incredibly proud. During this time, I employed two full time stylists and gained skills that will last a lifetime. As a salon owner, you are responsible for everything from payroll, to stock management, finances and problem solving. Although my salon was running well, my maternity leave and Covid impacted how I worked. From 2019, Envee Hairdressing became a freelance business catering for weddings and special occasions.
For the past 15 years, I have worked closely with the public and with salon teams This has helped me to gain great communication skills and has built my confidence to have the ability to converse with people in all situations, positive and negative I have also developed the skills after many years of experience to work both independently and as part of a team As a service provider, time management is crucial to effectively running a business and I am confident in my skills in this area Other skills I have developed over my career include; problem solving, budgeting, people management, sales and upselling
