- I started out as a general operative working alongside experienced people and learning and improving in the area of my works
- Throughout my time of working in this industry I have learned as much as I possibly could to then push myself to eventually becoming supervisor where as my role as supervisor i would deal with discussions of continuation of future work to be carried out, dealing and organising deliveries of materials and machinery to building sites
- I would have to do walks of buildings with fire consultants and safety officers and discuss the important of the work that has been carried out and that will soon have to be carried out
- I would have to also deal with invoices and paperwork regarding the work being done in these buildings
- I get left with a huge responsibility of ensuring work being carried gets done absolutely perfect as fire safety/ protection is extremely important in terms of safety and the internal protection of buildings

- My tasks in Centra vary from a list of different things including;
- Taking in and out deliveries for the store as well as loading deliveries into trucks etc
- Helping customers find what they are looking for and always being available to them
- Constantly staying on top of the cleanliness of the shop and the work area
- Always doing my best to help any staff member and/or customer in any way that I can
- Keeping on top of the storage area/stockroom, making sure stock is being used and making sure we order the rights things and not overflow the stockroom
- At Centra I have worked every type of shift there is including morning shifts, evening shifts and night shifts
- I was left to work on my own initiative which meant I was left with a big responsibility of packing out evening deliveries by myself, making sure that any new products were put in an appropriate place, making sure any changes to shelves/the store were good not done carelessly
