Managing a team of 14 distribution service technicians (DSTs) and a senior technician who work around the clock to ensure the water network assets are operated and maintained to the highest standard, delivering high quality water with minimal interruption to customers across Nottinghamshire and beyond.

Managed the Nottinghamshire planners and dispatchers for clean and waste non infra sites and assets. Worked with site managers and key stakeholders to ensure the maintenance plans were correct and adhered to, and ensured that between the resources we were ready to react to challenges such as adverse weather in a controlled manner.

With a team consisting of 25 operators, maintainers and senior technicians ensured the assets across both sites performed as required to deliver quality water to Leicestershire.

Managed a large budget for manpower, chemicals and power to target. Balanced raw water resources, delivered large capital schemes & recommissioned retired assets.

Improved levels of control around work, developing stringent procedures and risk assessments for activities to reduce risk to water quality.

Lead the service delivery team throughout the busiest time of year. Reduced work backlogs for inspectors & repair crews whilst maintaining productivity. Held a very strong budget position and an excellent health & safety record. Maintained the teams strong always on position & great customer scores. Set up a new team in the form of find & fix crews & their supervision which was the first stage of structural integration with contractors.
