· Whilst I was working with enable I was redeployed to a primary school while they recruited.

· I worked here for 3 months and was the sole nurse to 52 children with varying degrees of intellectual and physical disabilities alongside complex medical needs.

· I was in charge of the daily routine and ensuring that the medications for all children were delivered at appropriate times and correctly.

· Many of the children had PEG and JEG tubes for medication administration, I completed hseland course to ensure I had the appropriate training done

· It was part of the CNM role to organise the files for the new students waiting to begin

· During my time 5 new students were waiting to start school. I was entrusted with contacting parents and medical teams for meetings and service reviews.

  • While working here I had to ensure medications were given at specific times and that I was adaptable to sudden mood changes as that is associated with the disability
  • The work that I have carried out over the past three years with the Jack and Jill foundation has been some of the most gratifying of my young career
  • I feel the opportunity to work with an organisation that truly cares about individualised, personalised care for those in need is one that I cannot look past.
