-Through my Psychology with social science certification i have gained extensive knowledge of different areas

-Throughout my time completing this course i have gained skills such as

-Explain the main features and principles of major psychological perspectives

-Gained insight into different research methods and ethical issues in psychology

-Understanding into how different perspectives explain individual and group behaviour

-Introduction into different Mental health disorders and their treatment approaches

-The understanding of development from conception to old age

-The understanding of normal development patterns and how to recognise delays

-Human behaviour across the lifespan

-Emotional and social development

-Theories of development

-During my work experience i assisted a social care worker during their home visits to at risk youth

-I gained perspective on how different circumstances of life can lead to complex or abnormal behaviours amongst adolescence and children

-I learned about ethical intervention and appropriate care planning for each individual who requires different needs

-I gained skills on how to conduct a non violent intervention towards individuals' who were at risk to themselves and others

-I gained knowledge on the different sociological concepts and why society functions the way that it does

-I learned about the major sociological institutions and how they affect our society and how issues can develop from it

-As well as how to conduct surveys, interviews and how to evaluate research
