  • Primary research area is offshore geotechnics; developing sustainable geotechnical design approaches in offshore renewable energy sector.
  • Working in SFI-EPSRC funded ROBOCONE project: ROBOCONE, to develop robotic site investigation tool for offshore appliations.
  • Work responsibilities include performing calibration chamber testing, field-scale testing, and numerical simulations.
  • Introduced discrete element modelling into project, beyond original objectives of proposal.
  • Providing support to PI is drafting research proposals (SEAI successfully funded €250k - December 2023).
