Sofia Garcia White

Dear Sir/Madam, my name is Sofia Garcia White, and I'm currently 22 years old. I'm a fourth-year student studying Industrial Biochemistry at the University of Limerick.

I'm a hardworking and confident individual who has gained an extensive skill set from my previous employment in the pharmaceutical, retail, and hospitality sectors. I have a strong foundation of professional work skills, such as communication, customer service, and collaboration, as well as industrial skills, including analytical formulation and testing, pharmacovigilance reporting, and regulatory and quality regulations.

• Hobbies: I have a deep passion for health and fitness, which, for most of my life, I pursued through sport. My favorite sport was rugby, which I played for six years. Since giving up rugby in 2022, CrossFit has filled that void. It has become my personal therapy, and my form of escapism. It challenges me daily, physically and mentally, and has helped me build resilience and focus. It has also driven me to become more disciplined and consistent, giving me the confidence to push my limits and work hard in all aspects of my life.
• My university studies in biochemistry have also sparked a huge interest in the world of chemistry, specifically crystal and analytical chemistry. It's a fascinating subject that I will continue to deepen my knowledge of beyond my academic studies.
• Lastly, travel has always been an interest of mine, particularly due to my family connections in Central and South America. Visiting these areas has provided me with a strong cultural perspective and has allowed me to connect with people from various walks of life.
