I am a creative and inclusive educator deeply passionate about teaching, with a strong commitment to fostering a love for lifelong learning in every student I encounter. I am set to complete my Bachelor of Education degree at Mary Immaculate College by October 2025. Throughout my studies, I have gained valuable experience working with children across different grade levels and in a range of educational settings.
My enthusiasm for both GAA and music drives me to incorporate these interests into my lessons, enriching the learning experience and making it both enjoyable and engaging. My diverse teaching background has enhanced my ability to adapt quickly, remain flexible, and stay calm under pressure, allowing me to confidently lead any class. I thrive in ever-changing environments and am passionate about cultivating an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating space where every student can unlock their full potential..

Sport: I am an enthusiastic and active individual with a deep passion for sports. In my free time, I enjoy both playing and watching Camogie. I'm a proud member of my local Camogie club, Drom and Inch. Starting sport at an early age has shown me the importance of teamwork and communication, skills that benefit children in all areas of their lives. The ability to collaborate with others and effectively communicate within a team helps children navigate challenges they may encounter in the future. Beyond these vital life skills, regular physical activity also plays a key role in promoting children's overall health and well-being. I’ve had the pleasure of helping to coach football and camogie/hurling teams at various schools, which has given me the opportunity to inspire the same passion for sport and personal development in children that I’ve gained through my own participation. In March 2025, I also completed a Gaelic Games Leadership course, further enhancing my ability to mentor young athletes.
Music: I have achieved Grade 4 in Piano with the Royal Irish Academy of Music, a qualification that has honed my skills in reading music, aurally identifying notes, and understanding music theory. During my final placement, I had the opportunity to assist teachers in preparing for the Christmas Carol service, which sparked and deepened my interest in music. I take great joy in sharing my passion for music with students and integrating it creatively into various aspects of the curriculum.
