Summary

Organised and diligent professional with a strong foundation in effective communication, empathy, and care. Known for being hardworking, reliable, and upholding integrity in all tasks. Dedicated to delivering high-quality results while fostering positive relationships and maintaining a meticulous approach to responsibilities. Strong deadline management and coordination skills. Collaborative communicator with excellent conflict - resolution skills. Ready to use and develop skills, teamwork and communication in the HSCL role. Being a HSCL Coordinator needs a person who doesn't stop working at 3.45pm and who are available to be contacted by a parent/carer when a crisis occurs. This role is ongoing, hard work, rewarding and time sensitive. This role also take around 1.5 years to adapt to but because of my experience as a HSCL Coordinator this delay in getting to know the role will not be an issue. I also have a great knowledge of the Geography of the area which is an advantage while doing home visits.

From my experience of doing the role of HSCL teacher in the past , I now understand that the main qualities needed for this job is to be able to listen with your heart and ears, gain peoples trust, organisiation and the ability to establish links in the community.

Over the past ten years I have had the experience of being a coordinator and to develop my leadership skills. These skills are also very clearly seen in the work that I do in AP1 post.
