Administration:
· Responsible for all the aspects of admin in the endoscopy service
· Ensure the efficient day to day admin of the unit
· Ensure policies and procedures are well documented and understood and adhered by staff
· Ensure accurate attention to detail in own work
· Ongoing monitoring of requirements to meet service demands
· Cover clerical cover across the department
· Attend meetings when required
Waiting list management:
· Maintaining and monitoring waiting list for endoscopy
· Ensure compliance, local and national waiting protocols in relation to triage and scheduling to ensure waiting list KPI’s are met
· Work closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure effective in the use of daily capacity
· Ensure all patient activity is recorded on iPMs in a timely manner
· Follow up on patients who DNA (did not attend) or cancelled and update iPMs in accordance with policy
· Support insourcing initiatives to address waiting list and meet national targets
Data Management:
· Compiling of activity reports on iPMs
· Ongoing data review of waiting lists
· Provide information as required
· Update data reports on weekly basis
KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators):
· Identifications and development of KPIs which are congruent with the hospital service plan targets
· The management and delivery of KPI’s as a routine and core business objective
· In conjunction with Business manager assist in the development of a system
· The development of the action plans to address KPI’s targets
