While being on placement in the trauma ward i felt like i experienced a lot of unique cases and got to be more hands on, I

• Performed wound dressings, reducing risk of infection or further complications.
• I observed the administration of medication been given out to patients
• Collaborated closely with other nurses on the ward and developed a great professional relationship with them.
• As trauma patients were so ill, all staff followed strict hygiene protocols during all clinical procedures which minimized cross-contamination risks significantly.
• I assisted patients to complete all there daily tasks, such as giving bed baths, preforming oral hygiene, helping them eat and change there clothes.

As being a student nurse on her first work placement I

• Assisted patients with daily activities such as eating, bathing and going toilet, as majority of patients had experienced major trauma to their body's after having suffered from strokes but still i tried promoting independence where possible.
• Took vital signs regularly, observed any changes and reported to the nurse in charge
• I developed therapeutic relationships with all patients and there families

My duties while working as a waitress includes :

• Serving meals and drinks with professionalism and skill, maintaining high presentation and quality standards.
• Warmly greeted guests upon arrival to create welcoming atmosphere.
• Creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to encourage positive customer experience
• Taking accurate guest orders and relayed information to kitchen about preferences, requests, or allergens.
• frequently cleaning waitressing station and using correct hygiene when dealing with food and customers.
