I done my Transition Year work experience every Wednesday in Callaghans XL.This was new to me as I have never experienced working in a shop before ,I really enjoyed my time here as I got to interact with new and regular customers weekly.During my time here i learned:

• How to use a till and work with money
• I learned how to help customers and deal with any complaints in a calm and professional way
• I also developed product knowledge getting a good understanding of what im selling to customers
• Stocking shelves weekly helped me gain attention to detail keeping shelves tidy, checking dates on the products and pricing correct

• Busy shifts can be intense, giving me the ability to stay calm and think clearly under stress.
• Consistently arrived at work on time and ready to start immediately.
• During my time at Hunters I developed communication skills including how to talk confidently to customers ,kitchen staff and coworkers.
• I also learned to multitask serving multiple tables at once, taking orders, delivering food and handling payments.
• Restaurants rely on everyone working together which helped me build strong co-operation skills with other staff.

I done my Transition Year work experience every Wednesday in The Station House from September to December. I learnt the skill of working in a restaurant on busy and quiet days

My day to day tasks include

• Clearing and resetting tables
• Polishing cutlery, cleaning down counters
• Clearing the breakfast away from the restaurant and reset it for lunch
