A motivated final year student of BSc (Hons) in Applied Healthcare, with a strong academic background and experience in healthcare. Seeking an opportunity to pursue a career as a clinical measurement physiologist and further enhance my learning and professional development.
Patient Care: Assisting with daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating and drinking, mobilising and using the toilet
Emotional Support: Providing emotional support to residents such as companionship, empathy, reassurance
Communication: Acting as a liaison between the resident and staff to ensure their care plans are being followed and ensuring residents need are being met
Infection Control: Ensuring a clean and safe environment to protect residents and employees
Documentation: Keeping accurate records of residents' care, including daily activities, observations, and any changes in health or behaviour, as required by the nursing staff
Student Life and Learning: I volunteered with this programme in my second year in South East Technological University where I taught 5th/6th class students CPR, using a defibrillator, heimlich maneuver, giving them an insight to life as a third level student.
Lourdes: I attended Lourdes with South East Technological University caring for the malade, ensuring their needs were met.
Phlebotomy course: I have completed my phlebotomy training as part of BSc (Hons) in Applied Healthcare.
