Ronan Mc Conologue

My main duties consisted of operating tractors and plant machinery as well as keeping the machines in good working order in a safe manor.

My day to day jobs varied from field work {ploughing,cultivating,sowing}to hauling slurry,grass or machinery.

My employer also kept livestock where i would of performed daily inspections of the animals to help reduce the loss and maintain a good animal welfare.

I spent the duration of my time on The Two Oaks Project in Knocklyon.

My main duties were to load/unload lorries and vans, all while following the site safety guidelines to operate a teleporter.

This was a very busy site with numerous subcontractors, all of whom had a high quantity of materials on site. It was up to me to keep the site organized and safe for work, all while following orders from the site manager.

I also helped out in other ways as well when needed, including helping engineers with daily tasks, as well as site foremen and general operatives.

During my school years, I worked part-time in a shop, carrying out multiple tasks.

Performed opening, closing procedures for the store including counting money in cash drawers at start, end of shifts.

Resolved customer complaints in a professional manner.

Handled cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.

Greeted customers and provided assistance with product selection.

For the summers of 2019 and 2020, I spent my time laboring to blockayers.

My duties were to ensure that the blocklayers always had the required materials at all times and were never stopped waiting, costing the company money.

Along with building blocks, the company also carried out other jobs, including landscaping, groundworks, roofing, and renovation jobs, which required me to carry out multiple different jobs throughout my two summers working there.

For the month of December, a local turkey farmer would require help as it was a very busy month for them.

I worked here in the month of December after school and on weekends for two years.

Some of the daily tasks included:

• Plucking turkeys.
• Power washing and disinfecting of factory.
• Locking, alarming, and opening of the factory, ensuring all machines shut down properly.

This was a very fast-paced environment and required a good ability to work under pressure.
