Róisín O’Donovan

Summary

I’m a recent graduate of UCC with a BSc Hons in Physiology (1:1). I was awarded The PhysSoc Prize by the UK Physiological Society for final year university project in 2021 and also the Charles Medal in Physiology by UCC. This is an Academic Award awarded to the candidate achieving the highest aggregate mark in Physiology Degree Programme. I’m now looking for my first post graduate position in a science related field.

Outside of my academic achievements I’m an outdoor sports enthusiast. I have spent the last nine summer seasons working as part of Cork County Council’s Beach Lifeguard Service and have spent my winters working as a ski Instructor around Europe.
