Since finishing my degree in the summer of 2024 I have remained unemployed. This period was initially to take care of my sister over the summer holiday as she suffers from complex medical issues. I am no longer required to do this as she has returned to school and by the time she next has a break long enough to cause potential issues my Father will have retired so my services will not be needed. Since this period ended I have been actively searching for jobs and hope to return to employment as soon as possible.

• Worked here briefly before going to University doing overtime while working at the Rushden branch and then did seasonal work over the holidays.
• During the Christmas and Easter breaks I worked night shifts as part of a small team focused on doing the bulk of the delivery and layout changes while the shop was free from customers.
• Over the Summer break I would occasionally work nights when needed to cover unfilled shifts but would predominantly work day shifts, covering a wide rage of customer facing jobs.
• As a result of doing a range of morning, day, and night shifts I covered a wide range of tasks including but not limited to: shelf stacking, date checks, layout changes, ticket changes, audits, checkouts, kiosk checkouts, phone work and online order fulfilments.
• Working across both the night shift and the day shift I had experience of working with very different teams who have different approaches to the work and different expectations.
• The experience of working flexibly across these two different teams improved my work as I was able to take the best aspects of both teams and apply them together.

• Worked evening shifts during sixth form to make some money before I went to University.
• During this period I worked in reductions, primarily in the meat and fish section.
• The majority of this work was completed on my own, meaning I had to be able to work efficiently and quickly, while also being able to recognise when I would not be able to finish the tasks in the given time so I could ask for assistance in advance of it becoming an issue.
• While this role was focused on the management of stock, it was still very much a customer facing role as I was often the only person in my section so had to assist customers with any queries they may have.
• During this time I was one of a few members of staff with access to the external phone system meaning I would often have to field incoming calls from customers and occasionally from other branches and suppliers.
