1. Personal Care Support

Mobility and Rehabilitation Assistance

• Helping patients move safely using mobility aids such as frames, hoists, or wheelchairs.
• Encouraging independence by supporting physiotherapy exercises as directed by the care team.
• Assisting with transfers from bed to chair and promoting safe walking practice.

Supporting Recovery and Daily Living

• Encouraging patients to participate in daily routines to build confidence.
• Helping with meal preparation or setting up trays for patients who can eat independently.
• Providing gentle reminders about hydration, hygiene, and safety.

Infection Control and Safety

• Following strict infection‑control procedures, including hand hygiene and correct use of PPE.
• Cleaning equipment after use and keeping patient areas safe and tidy.
• Supporting fall‑prevention measures by ensuring call bells, mobility aids, and personal items are within reach.

Supporting clients in their own homes with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.

Assisting with mobility, such as helping clients move safely around the home or transferring from bed to chair.

Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support to reduce loneliness and promote wellbeing.
