• I provided support to early Years Eductors and oversaw the National Quailty Framework for educational programmes and practices.

• I had a high level of understanding of the national Quality standards, and provided guidance and mentoring to room assistants. I supported the centre Director and helped to create a professional, friendly, collaborative culture within the centre. I maintained safe and nurturing environments for all the children based in their individual needs, interests and cultures.

Abbey Tots Creche and Afterschool is a community creche based in County Mayo. I saw to all the daily runnings of the creche from bookings to staffing, health and safety, polices development and up keeping. I support staff in their curriculum and room environments and further developing their own individuals practices. I organise events and fundraisers and have developments strong relationships with the staff, children and all the families at Abbey Tots creche and Afterschool.

I have worked at Lollipop Lane for past 8 years. During my time there I have worked in many different roles and with a variety of different responsibilities. I worked my way up to become one of the managers there and recently stood in for our General Manger while they were on maternity leave. I was responsible and accountable for directing and supervising the work of all staff in the service and helping to support all staff with their curriculum development and room environments. I am responsible for administrative duties such as maintaining children's records, ordering equipment, health and safety checks and to ensure all staff are up to date with the necessary requirements as per regulations and legislation. I maintain respectful, friendly and supportive relations with our families, staff and all the children at Lollipop Lane. I ensure that our Policy's and Procedures are current and adhered to.
