Roles And Responsibilities

  • MCI - Basic Specialties, OT, OPD, IPD, Infrastructure, Radiology Departments - Operations and Quality
  • Participate in strategic planning for the healthcare Facility
  • Provide leadership and guidance on Quality Assurance
  • Follow-up results and disseminate information about improvement to all departments
  • Manage, implement and maintain the change to improve work processes
  • Guide healthcare facility to improve quality and maintain patient safety at all times
  • Provide technical and consulting support in all departments
  • Follow-up adherence of all departments to all Policies and By-Laws implemented
  • Monitor performance through audits and regular reviews of minutes of meetings of all departments and Standing Senior Teams
  • Responsible for entire patient stay right from admission till discharge
  • Handle all patient complaints related to stay
  • One-point contact for IP services
  • Handle billing, Insurance & ward secretary
  • Prepare MIS monthly basis
  • Coordinating with consultants
  • Responsible for day to day IP patient care
  • Helped in review of HIS software and report generation
  • Helped surgery package designing
  • Disciplinary grievance handling, patient handling relating issues, biomedical waste management, radiation safety
  • Manpower and training related issues
  • Upkeep of infrastructure, equipment, legal documents
  • Organization of mock drills (fire code, blue red alerts, emergency preparedness and management etc.)
  • Implementation of Hospital management information systems
  • Preparation of various analysis reports to increase productivity
  • Upkeep of sanitation of hospital and landscaping
  • Maintenance of provision of round the clock electricity, water supply and cleanliness in the hospital premises
  • Preparation of duty rosters and provision of alternative arrangements of staff in case of leaves of staff or extra ordinary emergency
  • To report to the higher authorities about surplus/ shortage of staff
