In my current role I oversee the planning and logistics for areas mainly related to the Meat & Poultry side of the business. This involves ensuring the logistics is in place in a timely manner and suppliers are monitored to ensure they are scheduled as agreed. This requires constant monitoring to ensure there are no delays and orders are fulfilled on time as agreed. My skills

I was involved in all aspects of export administration in completing all tasks in the logistics environment. From the start my experience was used to ensure all day to day issues were resolved in a timely manner so not to cause delays in the shipments. I managed the key contracts to countries all around the world that need more man management and are more detailed in their requirements. For the last three months in employment I was the lead role in the planning of the department in coordinating the shipments of all export orders from our three production sites and their Coldstores and the daily challenges involved in ensuring all orders are fulfilled as sold. I was also invovled in problem solving in all aspects from documentation to customer enquiries and ensure prompt solutions.

I managed a small team in ensuring all the group export orders were fulfilled and shipped from four locations around the UK. My role involved all aspects of the export operation from providing forecast figures for 100+ products so orders were in place to sourcing shipping options at the best rate and then ensuring all documentation met the requirements required. My main area of expertise is in the China market but I also have knowledge of sending products to all parts of the world from USA to Japan.

This was newly created position I undertook which at the start involved
processing all export documentation for frozen export orders in the group. As business grew this involved me taking on more responsibility with forecasting and planning orders were in place to then liaising with customers and ensuring they were ready to ship and book accordingly. I also contacted agents to ensure shipping options were fulfilled at the best rate possible.

Based at a busy production/slaughter site my role as sales administrator was to offer support to the sales team to ensure all orders were followed through and any documentation was completed. My role also involved dealing EU imports and the planning of these deliveries to production needs were met. Due to my previous experience I also organized all EU frozen orders were planned and loaded from our Coldstore sites.

From an initial start up operation I oversaw all admin/stock duties to
support the Coldstore operations. My role involved ensuring stock controls were in place which ensured orders were fulfilled as agreed. I also planned all daily operational workload to ensure to will completed all task. As operations grew from a initial start up I then had a sma;ll team around me that I supervised.

I was first employed in a junior role in doing all the general office duties
in a busy Coldstore/warehouse office environment from stock control to processing orders. This then developed as I gained more experience to a a lead office role reporting to the manager in ensuring all admin roles were fulfilled and all customer enquiries dealt with in timely manner. The role over the time involved dealing with retail clients for picking orders on a 7 day week to large manufacturing customers and their UK/Export orders.
