- I have worked with my neighbour, Cathal Cashman, tending to animals (cows and chickens). This includes the daily task requirements, such as laying bedding for the chickens, as well as cleaning, feeding, and milking the cows once or twice a day, 2 to 5 days a week. Less frequent tasks involve the incoming of chicks every two months or so, which requires delicate care of the young animals. Drying out the cows for the winter was my most recent task; this involves injecting cows with substances that stop infection and allow them to prepare for calving in the early spring. When taking care of animals like this, cleanliness and the maintenance of tools and machinery is important.
- G.A.A Future leaders Program- I am currently doing a G.A.A future leaders program in my school as part of my transition year activities, This includes responsibilities such as maintaining gear and equipment (Jerseys, cones, first aid etc.)As well as organising a competition for primary school students. While organising this competition, I have the responsibility of making sure that the health and safety of these kids is maintained on the day.I am also a part of the social media team for the competition.

Teamwork: I play GAA for my club, Erins Own, and I have been playing with them for 11 years During this time I have learned the importance of teamwork and communication between my teammates and I alongside my coaches/trainers
Time management: When studying for exams last year, time management played a huge part in balancing training, studying, eating, gym, and homework During this year, my time management became one of my strongest skills Milking with my neighbour in the morning called for me to be up earlier then anyone else in my family, Which meant i had to get myself up to go to work
Responsibility: I often am asked to take care of my younger siblings when my parents leave the house The duty of taking care of the house and my sisters allowed me to develop a good sense of responsibility
