Accomplishments

  • In 2016, I received first-class honours in the Foundation Certificate in Youth Leadership and Community Action from NUIG. I feel I have applied these leadership skills very well on the pitch and in my teaching roles.
  • Won a Connacht title with Roscommon and got to an All-Ireland final in Gaelic football. Made my senior Roscommon senior footballer debut in 2019, playing for the squad for a number of years after.
  • Received the Dermot Earley Scholarship Bursary for the 2018/2019 year.
  • Won the Hannah Greally Literary award.
  • Received Academic awards for English and Geography in 2019 for my Leaving Cert results receiving highest in the year for both subjects.
  • I have completed a 120-hour TEFL (Teaching Course) which allows me and qualifies me to teach English as a foreign language in a range of different countries.
  • I have a range of courses done in Sports Psychology, Wellness and Wellbeing and mental strength and perseverance through the GPA (Gaelic Players Association).
  • I have a range of other training courses completed particularly in areas of curriculum and trauma-based training for children.
  • Completed Athletic Development training with Longford GAA in 2025, teaching young athletes how to run correctly, running mechanics and weightlifting.
  • I have completed a Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Psychology through Setanta college. Accredited by the Irish American University.
