As an Enterprise Network Engineer, I was responsible for maintaining the complete network infrastructure for the London location, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. I played a key role in the coordination of hardware procurement, managing vendor relationships to ensure timely project completion and adherence to budgets. My duties also included routine audits of network usage to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities and Achievements:

• Maintained and managed the entire network infrastructure at London office, including core devices such as Cisco C6506E switches and Cisco 9300 access switches.
• Work closely with the NOC team for any network abnormalities.
• Currently managing a team of 2 engineers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between teams based at the company's headquarters in Italy and subsidiaries across multiple locations.

• Project Management: Led the migration project from Cisco 5000 SD-WAN Vedge routers to Cisco 8851, successfully completed VPN migration from BIG-IP to F5 VPN, and managed the migration of Cisco 3850 access switches to Cisco 9300 (20 switches in total). Played a key role in the pilot phase and full implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA) for users.
• Monitored network and telephone devices for performance and load threshold metering. Used Azure directory and Azure TFS for tracking support tickets, documenting actions, and providing ongoing network performance monitoring.
• Managed the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software. Installed and updated new software versions for users, ensuring systems remained secure and up-to-date.
