In October of 2022 I joined the data operations team at BNY Mellon. The pricing analyst role within BNY is a fast paced deadline focused role, prioritizing the valuation of securities for daily NAV Prices. This role requires attention to detail, communication, and a great understanding of financial institutions. The data operations team works closely with the corporate actions and fund accounting team to deliver on time accurate solutions for clients. Throughout my time at BNY I have built upon what I have learned in college to greatly develop my understanding of the financial markets.

Last summer, I took part in the J1 graduate exchange programme, where I worked in the food and beverage sector of Belmont park. In this role, I worked in various food outlets within Belmont park. Over my short period in this role I progressed swiftly and was a stand in supervisor coming for the last few weeks of programme. Trained new park rangers and team members in all operations and policies while offering mentorship and assistance with duties. This whole experience greatly developed my character.

As part of my four-year course at the university of limerick, I joined Accenture as a junior intern where I worked in a fast-paced environment for eight months. During my time at Accenture I worked on a client focused project implementing a training platform to a well known international bank. I had various roles within this project such as data analysis, client management, and project development. This internship vastly improved my communication, analytic and computer skills.
