Volunteering here over the years has shaped many of the qualities I hold today. Skills developed include:

I worked in the Software section of Smyths Toys and obtained valuable experience of working in retail.
I gained insights such as:
• Customer Service: Gained experience assisting customers and handling
inquiries professionally.
• Sales & Product Knowledge: Developed an understanding of products to provide helpful recommendations.
• Stock Management: Assisted with restocking and keeping track of inventory.

In this 3-week placement:

• I constantly expanded my personal knowledge of therapeutic drug and interactions
• I grew accustomed to the methodology of dispensing drugs on the MPS system.
• I worked over-the-counter, advising customers through consultations.

From this experience, I gained skills in:

• Applying theory to practical, patient-facing situations
• Retail of pharmaceutical products
• Working efficiently under time pressure
