Noemi Raina - IP Paralegal

I joined the Trademark Department of Notarbartolo & Gervasi to master my knowledge on Trademarks.

Currently, I handle the following processes:

- Filing trademark registrations & renewals of trademark registrations in all Countries;

- Reporting Office Actions and handling their deadlines, in all Countries;

- Filing opposition against infringing trademarks and handling their prosecution, up to their extinction in Italy and European Union;

- Redacting of cost estimates for all the aforementioned activities;

- Invoicing, updating our database and back office.

I joined the Milan IP Team, to deepen my knowledge on Trademarks and their rules.

As an international law firm, I had the opportunity to enhance my professional-business english, by relating with colleagues from all over the world on a daily basis. Furthermore, we have been given personal private lessons from an english teacher.

Just graduated, I started my job career as an intern in the Trademark Department. At first, I handled simple tasks such as:

- Sending trademark certificates (registrations, renewals, declaration of use, grants);

- Drafting of invoices (Ad Hoc);

- Updating the trademark database (Diams);

On February 2021, I joined the Domain Names Department as Paralegal, where I got the opportunity to develop full knowledge of how to handle big domain names portfolios in every aspect.

On March 2023 I've personally started the Blockchain Domain Names Project, exploring the Metaverse and Web3.
