- Portfolio analysis of clients of several different asset classes, PE/PD/VC/Syndicated Loans, including preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports/ presentations.
- Reports involve financial modeling using DCFs and cash flow projections visualized by PBI and SQL tools.
- Assistance with GP onboarding, building and maintaining courteous and effective working relationships.
- Client lead involves me to be the direct contact for the client if they have any queries or adhoc requests as well as lead walk throughs on reports.
- Trained and mentored employees to maximise team performance while managing our cash flow team for selected clients.
- Management and analysis of AIFMD reporting. This involves complete analysis of all qualifying funds as well as liaising with the CFO before filing to CBI.
- Thorough analysis of GP data, including loans at initial launch and at each quarter.
- Before I joined Stepstone analysts would have to manually check each data point for up to a thousand loans per GP. I coded a tool through VBA which would check each data point automatically, checking expected calculations, missing data, incorrect formats etc. The tool would also generate an automatic email to the GP with the errors generated, which before a manual correspondence would have been needed. This saved a huge amount of time as well as made sure nothing was overlooked, completely changing the process from manual to automatic. Time processing decreased by 80% and efficiency increased by 92%.
- Built a continuous process improvement survey for team members to suggest ideas. I organize a quarterly meeting where these ideas can be presented.
