Summary

I am a Psychology masters student at University College Dublin. I'm interest in furthering my professional development and experience of working with individuals in disability and mental health settings. I am dedicated to and passionate about psychology and applying it practically to improve the quality of peoples lives . I am keen to broaden my knowledge and understanding of psychology and build on my research and clinical skills. My research interests are mainly in the areas of Child and Adolescent Mental Health. For my dissertation I am conducting novel research on Risk & Protective factors for Adolescent Self-Harm and Suicidal Behaviour under the supervision of Prof. Amanda Fitzgerald. My longterm goal is to pursue a career in the field of Clinical Psychology.

  • Road cycling, I am a member of Comeragh Cycling Club and have been cycling competitively for three years. In the summer of 2019, I competed in the Junior Tour of Ireland, a 6-day race against some of the best young riders Europe has to offer.
  • Scouts, I have been a member of scouting Ireland all my life and was fortunate enough to be part of my local scouts group team of 8 that qualified and got a gold standard in the all-Ireland scouting championships known as the Phoenix.
