• My role involves the delivery of the CervicalCheck theoretical and clinical component to Doctors, Midwives and Nurses, the clinical assessment of students in their clinical setting, (Cork, Limerick, Kerry) and ultimately granting certification in proficiency of sampletaking to these students. I am responsible for the management of my own diary and caseload. I am involved in conflict resolution in complaints raised against sampletakers by both Healthcare professionals and members of the public, and also organise clinical trainin/g interventions in some cases.

Proficient in phlebotomy, 24hr ambulatory monitoring, ECG recording, cervical screening, adult ( travel ) and infant vaccinations, ear irrigation, wound assessment and dressings/management

Chronic disease management and counselling

Contraception/sexual health monitoring and counselling

Coordination of the annual COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination programme to maximise coverage within our patient numbers.

FacilitIng smooth clinic operations by maintaining adequate medical supplies.

• Role- Senior Telephone Triage Nurse, responsible directly for clinical/operational work issues on a shift basis. Role involved managing on site and external staff , resolving clinical and staff related issues reporting directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager, Call centre operations manager, Medical Director and CEO

Facilitated provision of scripted occupational health assessments for private working organisations as needed.

• Duties included providing ongoing support, training and evaluation of patients using an injectable treatment for Multiple Sclerosis, case load 110 patients, covering the Mid West of Ireland.

• Executed clinics at identified GP practices within Munster region, gathering medical samples and data from patients involved in clinical drug trials for leading pharmaceutical company.

• I used this time to update my clinical skills and knowledge base.

• Functioned as relief Staff Nurse across all acute areas of hospital.

• Worked as a Midwife as part of an on-call Midwifery team delivering all aspects of Midwifery care
