I believe that I am a very dedicated and committed care worker in any of the roles that I have undertaken. My interest and empathy to my clients is of high importance to me and treating my clients with the integrity and respect that they deserve is paramount.

As part of my role at Amberley nursing home I have learned so much in the area of working individually with clients and also working as part of the wider care team. Both roles demand different energies and I
believe I have demonstrated an excellent ability to work in either role. Being part of a care team that involves delegation of duties and responsibilities is essential in the overall care of the clients. Sharing experiences and learning
from colleagues has supported me to develop the necessary skills involved in caring for vulnerable people.
Independently working with client’s I have learned to rely on the skills attained and to use my own initiative when appropriate. I am always acutely aware to ask for advice and guidance when working independently as this supports the work I need to do. Overall working independently has increased my self confidence in my role as personal assistance, a role I will carry into any duties asked of me.

At all times throughout my time as a health care assistance maintaining a professional approach to my work is very important to me. I always ensure that my approach to families and clients is both respectful of their needs and professional in my delivery of service. I believe I have grown as a professional in my care field and always seek to ensure a high standard of care to my cases.
