  • I became the Operations and Sales Manager at Borrisoleigh Bottling Limited (BBL) in October 2019.where we manufacture Bottles Water in various packaging options.
  • The company was not accredited with any quality certification at that stage. I achieved ISO 22000 by March 2020 and increased our employees from 18 in 2020 to 58 today.
  • In relation to sales, the company turned over 500k in 2019, 1m in 2020 and I led the sales team to increase this turn over to 2.6m in 2021, 5.6m in 2022, 8.1m in 2023, 11.2m in 2024 and we are on target for 14.8m in 2025.
  • We are currently supplying 480 customers and growing.
  • I am also involved the implementation of a new increased capacity plan in the company.

  • Responsible for 140 employees on site, covering 7 manufacturing lines, PET blow moulding and injection moulding, warehousing, raw material, and packaging purchasing and control.
  • Implemented a Visual Management System on all production lines.
  • Daily stand-up meetings and fortnightly review meetings with all employees.
  • KPI results reporting system, including H&S, Quality, People, and Utilities. Responsible for reducing waste costs from 15% to 4%, overtime from 17% to 2.5%, and bringing OEE and EFF targets in line with budget from initially only planning at 80% of target run rates.
  • Presented Monthly P&L Results to Company Directors
  • Lead the Preparation of Annual Budgets for all KPIs in Manufacturing Programme
  • Led sales strategy development to align with company goals and market trends. Increased sales from 500k in 2019 to 11.2m in 2024 and on target for 14.5m in 2025

  • In 1999, I was offered the position of General Manager of Greensleeves Confectionery Limited which was a subsidiary of the Gleeson Group.
  • Greensleeves Specialised in the Manufacturing of Freeze Pops in a State of the Art Manufacturing Facility where the Product was manufactured on a unique Vertical, Form ,Fill and Seal System.
  • Within Greensleeves I was responsible for the Hiring of Employees for the Production Plant, Sourcing & Purchasing of all Raw Materials and Packaging for the Product along with the full Manufacturing Process. During my time in Greensleeves we held BRC Grade A for 7 consecutive years.
  • I was also responsible for the Marketing and Sales of all Products to the Export Market where I was solely responsible for increasing sales from 300k in 1999 to in excess of 2m in 2012 while exporting to 50+ Customers in 15 Countries.
  • On the back of this success I was offered Export Manager of the full Gleeson Group Portfolio in 1997 where I was responsible for approx 250 SKUs including Natural Mineral Water, Spring Water, Soft Drinks, Beers, Cider, Cream Liqueur and Freeze Pops.

Hobbies and Interests

I am very interested in all Sports related activities., In recent years following retirement from GAA Sports I became Manager and Coach of Senior Hurling Teams within Tipperary GAA scene. To date, I have successfully managed four senior teams, and in 2012 and 2013, I also successfully coached the Tipperary Intermediate Hurling Team to back-to-back All-Ireland titles. I am currently the head coach for Tipperary Senior Camogie team on my 3rd year. I also enjoy running, walking, reading, and helping out with coaching kids in various sporting activities. I am also a member of the Board of Management of our local primary school
