I worked on a fund of funds client which had investments in up to 22 Hedge and private equity funds. My daily/weekly tasks would have included:

• Reviewing Cash and Position Reconciliations.
• Reviewing Fund Pricing and Corporate Actions.
• Reviewing Dividend, Bank Debt, Trading, and NTT accruals.
• Liaising with Investment Managers and other departments to resolve various fund issues
• Preparing support for any manual inputs and updates to the accounting system
• Conducting training and providing mentoring to the junior staff.

The client had one dealing date a month, with end-to-end month-end processes being completed in 7 working days.

• Prepared daily Cash and Position recons
• Prepared Trading Accrual, Dividend and Fixed Income checks
• Carried out month-end, quarterly and year-end processes.
