• Title of the project: 'The Development of in-Process VIBration Monitoring Measurements to investigate the impact on PharmacEutical Product Quality (VIBE)' in collaboration with Astellas Pharma and Eastway Reliability companies.
• Mentoring a master student and support her research project.
• Select and develop a model blend formulation that has the potential to segregate and can act as a surrogate for a commercial active ingredient.
• Study and model how the variables impacting vibrations transmitted to the hopper can result in powder segregation.
• Generate a model that can predict process parameter settings that will reduce the tendency for vibration induced segregation which can enable support for any future on-plant testing/changes e.g. direction of change, ranges, limits.

• Title of the project: 'Investigation and Optimization of a Process for Manufacturing an EntericBio Bacterial and Viral Real-Time Test Kits'.
• Characterize the manufactured Enteric Bio bacterial and viral test kits by Serosep Ltd. using PXRD, TGA, DSC and SEM.
• Develop SOPs and deliver technical report to industrial partner
• Determine the CQAs of the final freeze dried product.
• Develop and understanding of freeze-drying process using statistical analysis e.g., Design of Experiment.
• Optimize, develop and validate the freeze-drying process and evaluate the design space to meet desirable CQAs.

• Application of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) in HME method for having a better mechanistic understanding and assuring the quality and performance of final produced cocrystal of Ibuprofen-Nicotinamide.
• Mechanochemical synthesis of Ciprofloxacin cocrystal as a broad-spectrum antibiotic and enhancing its dissolution rate by cocrystallization via HME.
