As a GSOC Senior Badging Lead with Milestone Technologies, I was involved in setting up the new badges’ hubs in Dublin and London. This involved coordinating with local teams to establish efficient badging processes and ensuring that all necessary equipment and resources were in place. I also provided training and support to the new badging administration teams to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing success. In addition to setting up the new badges hubs, I continued to manage badging operations for the Asia-Pacific and Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions within Facebook's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). My responsibilities included implementing efficient badging protocols, collaborating with regional teams to streamline processes, and ensuring compliance. I also built and maintained reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor data integrity and provided data-driven insights to identify process improvement opportunities. I assisted in hiring new team members, conducted performance reviews, and addressed any HR-related issues within the team. As a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Lead, my primary responsibility was to ensure the safety and security of people, assets, intellectual property, and infrastructure. As a GSOC operator, I ensured the protection of company staff, guests, and assets by diligently monitoring Access Control Systems, CCTV, Incident Management Systems, and Dispatch Control Rooms. I documented and recorded security activity observed during my scheduled shift and escalated incidents as necessary. Additionally, I supported analytical product production to support travel and risk programs, carried out policies and procedures in accordance with company policies, and forged effective relationships with colleagues to achieve goals. During special events, security incidents, disasters, and other crises on a global scope, I conducted open source monitoring. I responded to life safety incidents and dispatched security officers, ERT, facilities, police, fire, and supported Client’s events. I maintained various records of communications and events, evaluated global incidents that may have impacted Client employees or offices, and escalated accordingly to security management and other business units within Client. I monitored Client executives’ travel and notified security management with potential risk, communicated and disseminated information to key partners using best practices, and managed situations of a sensitive nature while maintaining company confidentiality and information security practices. I took an active role in position-related projects, acted as a liaison between all departments and the Global Safety & Security team, collaborated with other internal business units regarding incident reports, and managed the access control system alarms.
