  • Managing resources/space in one of the largest Construction Projects in Europe. Role entails managing resources/space to allow 4000 tools to be installed and brought up to production.
  • My role is to resource installation of tools: Space needed, tradesmen, required utilities and coordination of multiple vendors to allow smooth installations of tools safely and on schedule.
  • Averaging 5 tools per day for installation. Scheduling all stakeholders, ensuring they understood their role and executing when needed. Each tool required up to 20 people per day.
  • I was responsible for all safety elements of tool installation. Reviewing and amending safety protocols regularly.

  • Used skills gap analysis to establish skills gaps, created training plans/workshops to close gap so area was ready for production.
  • Role included determining area headcount and skills required to operate at various production milestones.
  • Ensuring all operational and safety classes were completed by all employees using SABA (LMS system).
  • Managed Litho Area to highest level of certification 99.8%.
  • Met every Training Milestone, all heads trained and within assigned budget.
  • Managed Peer Training certification program, ensuring there was no watered-down training delivered.
  • Managed induction program, delivered classes and managed others.

  • As a member of Manufacturing Training Group, managing full training program for Thin Films area (95 people) and Planer Area (80), using skills gap analysis and TX LMS tracking system.
  • Owner/Manager of Chalk Talk Program. Series was developed to give employees, with specific emphasis on newer employees, opportunity to learn about other business areas, this enabled employees to bed in quickly and reduced attrition.
  • Partnered with site manager, talks were created at various levels depending on technical experience of audience. Although attendance was voluntary, we consistently got 100 plus attendees.
  • Series was duplicated by our international counterparts following its success. Series ran for five years in Ireland, with 5500 people attending.
  • Managed Manufacturing Groups demos on site.
  • Project Managed Intel Lean Program, including full design, development and delivery of Intel’s Lean Modules to give employees the tools to reduce wafer costs substantially.
  • This included introduction to lean, waste elimination, standardisation and Scandu. Introduction to Lean class was a four-hour class and was rolled out to all IFO employees (2000) in one quarter.
  • Following the success of the project in Ireland, it was rolled out on a global scale.
  • Created a new certification level, L4MT, this level enabled highly skilled expert technicians to present and manage task forces. Skills required were mostly soft, presentation skills, listening skills etc.
