Independent examination, diagnosis and treatment of primary care pediatric patients in a busy outpatient clinic. UCommon reasons for presentation included URI's and seasonal illnesses, ear infections, physical injuries, routine check-ups, vaccinations, skin complaints, and obesity management. Population was diverse and represented both private and government payment sources.

In the director role responsibilities included hiring and ongoing oversite of personnel, management of departmental fiscal compliance, and interdepartmental collaboration. In the direct patient care role responsibilities included nursing care of pediatric oncology and bone marrow transplant patients, medication administration, education, sepsis management, assisting with procedures and sedation, and end of life care.

Management of an outpatient adult oncology and bone marrow transplant clinic including the hiring and oversight of nursing and support staff, physician scheduling, complaint management, and coordination with inpatient hospital units and administration. 

Administration of all aspects of nursing delivery in a live-in, life-long care institution with over 400 residents. Responsibilities included hiring and oversite of nurses and nurse supervisors, creation and implementation of all medical policies, patient outcomes and trend analysis, and compliance with state and local regulatory policies and inspections.
