Senior Engineer

- Responsible for managing an engine room team consisting of 2 Watchkeeping Engineers and 3 Engine Room Assistants

- Schedule maintenance and tasks for the engine room crew using the vessel's planned maintenance program

- Training and familiarizing new engineers and ERAs using the vessel's IMS and Ship Specific Work Instructions

- Responsible for performing corrective and condition based maintenance on Vessel's equipment as needed

- Ensured the engine room staff are working safely and in compliance with IMS standards

- Monitoring the condition of equipment on the vessel using oil samples and interpreting the results

- Monitoring the fuel levels on the vessel and transferring fuel as needed for operations

Watchkeeping Engineer
