In addition to the work experience referenced, my hobbies and interests have helped me gain additional skills. In addition to Volleyball, I play GAA football for Mac Diarmada Gaels. Being a team player involves being a good communicator, trusting your team members, diligently turning up for training and knowing that hard work pays off for the whole team.
I also enjoy playing golf with friends after school and during the summer. While this is an individual sport, it gives me a different perspective, learning to be self reliant and learning new skills.
My work experiences to date have all been varied, but ultimately have involved learning new skills, meeting a wide range of people, adapting communication skills to suit and in the case of the Cul camp, getting an opportunity to mentor younger people.
I would love the opportunity to use the skills I have learned to date inside and outside of school to continue to continue on my work journey.
