Reading Partner with Primary School in disadvantaged area.
For almost 4 years I took part in a reading programme where we were partnered with children from 1st and 2nd Class of an inner-city primary school. We would visit the school once a week and read individually with children for 1-1 attention.
Mentor for secondary school student from disadvantaged area.
As an employee for CLE I partnered with Larkin College and were given a mentee for 2 years and our goal was to encourage our student to continue on to third level education.
