I held the position of Marketing Assistant in PTSB supporting the wider marketing team on the execution of all through-the-line campaigns. I worked in an agile dynamic environment at a time of huge change in the retail banking landscape in Ireland. The function was multi-faceted/ channel and required daily interaction with our senior executives and external partners.

Responsibilities Included:

  • Supporting the execution of through-the-line marketing campaigns across multiple channels in a fast-paced, dynamic retail banking environment.
  • Coordinating local marketing for 75 branches, including the integration of 25 Ulster Bank branches into the network.
  • Acting as brand custodian for in-branch collateral, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and other departments to ensure all marketing materials align with brand guidelines.
  • Independently managed a €300K collateral budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Assisted in delivering the Marketing Effectiveness Framework, including Share of Voice reporting, econometrics, and campaign impact analysis.
  • Collaborated with Marketing Communications and Design teams to ensure timely and on-brand delivery of marketing activities.
  • Built and maintained relationships with retail partners to support in-branch events and regional sponsorships.
  • Augmented local marketing efforts through advertorials, radio partnerships, and social media planning.
