Liz OSULLIVAN

Community Services Manager
NAAS

Summary

I am a confident manager with a well developed range of competencies. I have been working as a leader and promoter of social inclusion, education and development in the formal and ‘not-for-profit’ sectors in Ireland and overseas for twenty years. My current role in BCP Family Matters I lead a team engaging in early intervention and prevention initiatives in delivery of a range of services for children parents and families, workforce capacity and policy and practice change. Through my previous work in community services I led the provision of a range of early intervention, open access and targeted parent and family supports in community. For ten years, I led Kildare Youth Services, in providing a range of quality services while expanding and consolidating the service. I managed a large team of staff and volunteers. My overseas experiences, as a volunteer and field officer have given me insight into the considerations required and complexity of development work and poverty reduction. The opportunity of making a difference for a better, more equal and peaceful world continues to motivate me. I confidently manage change in adversity, delegating well and seeking new opportunities for development and learning in challenges that arise in the workplace. I build professional relationships easily and have a strong commitment to Partnership and Human Rights work.
